Many researchers have long been attempting to analyze the problems associated with the language teaching/learning processes. Most of studies are focused on comprehending the problems associated with language learning complexities while little work has been conducted in proposing proper simulation techniques for these complexities. These problems may influence teaching methods, students’ motivational development, or even their learning progression. Unlike the traditional studies that focus on some isolated issue, this paper tries to introduce an approach used to simulate sophisticated processes of various sciences and to apply it to the notion of language teaching and learning. System dynamics approach mainly focuses on the structure and behavior of systems over time using positive and negative feedback loops and flow diagrams. It is important to mention that the information about a system’s state that is sent out by a stock is mostly delayed or distorted before it reaches the flow which terminates the loop and affects the stock, and this makes system dynamics distinguishing and highly qualified in compare with other techniques. The study represents the analysis process of different parameters extracted from academic, personal, and motivational fronts using system dynamics approach that can provide a clear picture of the influence of real life events on students’ performance. Furthermore, system dynamics helps educators to predict and monitor the students’ progression during the education, to analyze the root causes of the problems, and to provide a sensitivity analysis of changes. The loop diagrams of system dynamics approach can also depict various trends among teachers’ and students’ enthusiasm, and all those factors influencing learning and teaching over time.
