It seems that the impression of common people is that philosophy is accessible for few educated people, who remain separated from the rest of the community. The task of who dedicates his life to study involves a distant, or bird's eye view of the entire world. In order to contemplate the reality, it is unavoidable to move a step behind, and look at the entirety. So the separation from the world has somehow to be hoped for a philosopher, but one of the consequences could be the loneliness.  Nevertheless the major problem in this case is not the possible suffering of a philosopher from loneliness, but the impossibility for him to communicate his knowledge to the common people or mass. It is possible to apologise the philosopher for this unforeseen difficulty because he speaks in a technical language, not accessible for the majority of people. Perhaps philosopher should accept the loneliness like an unavoidable destiny or the price of his knowledge. This is precisely what is suggested by the well-known Myth of the Cave. Is there any alternative?
