The western notion of theorisation has engulfed the world in its hegemonic influence. In order to break from the academic community needs to develop its own, local ways of theorising. The paper broadly tries to suggest ways to developing different ways of theorising and in effect broaden the scope of theorisation in the overall field of social sciences. The paper will first highlights fallacies of the western way of theorising and in the second will review alternative approaches to therorising and in the final section will suggest a radical way to theorising.
