Presentation abstract

This paper uses the theoretical/practical form to investigate the concepts and practices of game development, distance learning, collective production, social network, gamification, and graphic interface. This investigation is destined to a platform denominated Halag, which uses the interaction design language to enable the creation of digital games through a collective production. The Halag is an educational project involving a number of didactical materials with practical activities related to the development of a digital RPG game. The activities will be integrated in the final game, being orientated by the author’s demands relating different areas involving the game design methodology. The gamification theoretic is used with the participants to stimulate this collective production. This theoretic base is going to be integrated in our graphic interface created to support the Halag. We propose the offering of tools for the game production, and we will use the game methodology to engage the participants.Halag is just one example that we, together can create and develop a game. We want to create a network that the members have ability to create others kinds of games or others products with our tools and methodology that we used.   The concepts about the project, which will be investigated until the end of our research, are: game design, gamification and education, interface design, collective production, Halag platform, and gamificated interface.
