Modern didactics in contemporary education addresses the issue of streamlining the didactic process, methods, strategies and technologies used in teaching, especially foreign language teaching, in our case Therefore, modern didactics is in demand of modern teachers that have to cope with the changing perspective on didactic approach. One of the major issues we need to keep in mind in the attempt of optimizing the teaching process is the training of educators who require optimal scientific, didactic and pedagogical training to cope with reforming requirements. Accordingly, we must emphasize that language teachers need special training and particular attention due to the fact that they represent a different and complex category of teachers, other than typical language teachers teaching to natives. Our assertion is based on the fact that the teaching effort is double when teaching a language to non-natives because they have to face challenges like: students usually borrow their native practices into the foreign language spoken (sometimes even the non-native teachers do that; most often it happens that the foreign language is taught by a non-native due to the fact that the number of second-language speakers far outnumbers first-language speakers); bilingual students switch codes not being fully aware of that; native teachers have good command of language, but they find difficult to adapt their speech rate, vocabulary and amount of information. The aim of our research is to develop strategies to support teachers in scaffolding and adapting to the requirements of modern didactics.
