Presentation abstract

This study purports to determine the impact of satisfaction of gamification on employee engagement, motivation, and intent to leave of employees within the Banking Industry in the country. A total of 350 randomly selected regular bank employees were selected to answer our survey questionnaire. To process the gathered data, the researchers used SPSS v.24 and AMOS v.24. Using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) as an analysis tool, results showed that employees who are satisfied with the gamified environment of the organization has a positive effect on their engagement towards their work, motivation in accomplishing their tasks, and lessens their intention to leave their employment. Although this study has limitations, findings revealed interesting insights for Human Resource practitioners on how gamification affects the outlook of an organization’s employees towards the company they work for.
