Microcredit has been using as an essential tool to reduce poverty as well as to reach the Millennium development goals in third world countries. It provided complete financial services. This paper gives an overview of the microfinance and microcredit role in socio-economic transformation and community-based empowerment of poor and low-income communities in Nepal. Urban-rural poor community people are living in extreme poverty, gender gap, lack of fundamental education, deprivation of financial basic services etc. To uplift from vulnerable condition to some extent a better living atmosphere with conducting communities-based saving and credit activities that would be the better way. Saving Credit Cooperatives (SCC has been being a means for the Urban-rural Communities. Descriptive research method would analysis the microcredit impacts in different aspects of self-driven microcredit in Nepal.
