China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the newest development in the relationships of the two states, Pakistan and China. Since, the emergence of the China as an independent state they had good relations with Pakistan. The cooperation was mainly depending on the economic and strategic ties. The current research was conducted in the city of Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan (Pakistan) with a special aim to understand the role of CPEC on the life aspects of people. This research was conducted by using selective qualitative research techniques such as a) semi-structured in-depth interviews and b) focus group discussions. The people opined that this economic corridor could positively affect their life aspects in following ways; a) economic impacts, b) cultural impacts, c) educational opportunities, d) employment opportunities, e) educational opportunities, f) linguistic pluralism, and g) change in the food patterns.
