Presentation abstract

In the beliefs of Iranians, the four main elements of nature including water, wind, soil and fire have played an important role in the story of creation and human life. In the meantime, the wind has a feature that does not have three other elements, which is the invisibility of the wind and the same thing has caused the wind to occur in the beliefs of the ancient Iranians as a twofold goddess. The invisibility of the wind, which is an amazing and at the same time invisible power has caused the horror of the man of the past, therefore the goddess with this feature had two separate aspects in their opinion. First: Destruction _x000D_ Second: Construction. These roles have not been overlooked in Persian literature, especially in poetry. The purpose of this research is to study the role of wind in myth and beliefs of the ancients and its direct impact on the poetry of poets of Iran and the result of this endeavor is the use of this element in the poetry of the past poets, whether the poets of the epic poetry like Ferdowsi or the sonneteers like Hafiz in the past and the contemporary Iranian poets like Ahmad Shamalou. _x000D_
