Presentation abstract

The research focuses on improving the ability to solve basic mathematical problems, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This is possible thanks to the creation of a video game with easy and intuitive mechanics with a friendly interface for a better understanding of the information, having as target audience mainly children between 5 to 8 years old since this sector is characterized by having difficulties when learning these topics with conventional methods resulting in the deficit of the above mentioned topics thus giving the opportunity to learn while having fun, thus becoming a very suitable pedagogy for the target audience. The application will have a reward system to encourage children to continue playing and learning in order to keep winning objects, cosmetics or tools that help to make learning more attractive, it should also be clarified that the greater the difficulty of the operations, the greater the reward. Using the I + D methodology, we arrived at the result proposed above, giving us a clear way of how to approach and develop any area related to research. This methodology was used based on a population group in which this type of project is best developed: children, generally between the age range of 5-8 years old.
