Presentation abstract

The features of the higher education system in the UAE are studied in the article. The effectiveness is assessed of state bodies in controlling quality of higher education in the UAE. The ways of development and improvement of the regulatory functions of the state in the country's educational sector are determined in the article as well. Methodology. The methods of statistical and financial analysis, systematization, generalization of information are applied and the logical and theoretical approach is used. This model takes into account the influence of foreign higher education institutions importing educational services in the UAE through branches, which necessitates the establishment of special regulatory restrictions. Findings. As such restrictions, first of all, it is proposed to introduce a program to ensure the quality control of educational services provided by private universities and foreign branches. It is also suggested to revise the standards of the qualification assessment system for professors and researchers. Originality. In the process of research, the need is identified for finding ways to develop national science, create state scientific institutions whose task will be to conduct practical and academic research. The study described in this article is primarily aimed at finding ways to form an independent and sustainable system of national education, increase the scientific potential of the country, and improve the quality of training of young specialists. The resulting developments are universal in nature and may be applicable in national and international practice of quality management of higher education.
