Presentation abstract
Children foreign language acquisition should conform to both language attributes and children’s mentality so as to arouse children’s interest maximally and promote the children’s sustainable development of their foreign languages. From the perspectives of philosophy of language and ecolinguistics, the present paper explores the functions of the multidimensional language attributes in interest-driven eco-chain modeling for children foreign language acquisition and the effectiveness of interest-driven eco-chain modeling by means of theoretical and empirical researches. This study indicates if taking interest-driven model as value-orientation and means of foreign language acquisition, we can help the transformation from situational interest into personal interest, facilitate the eco-modeling of foreign language education, and interest-driven eco-chain modeling for children foreign language, which aims at the win-win of cultivation of children’s foreign language learning strategies and interest in order to benefit the children’s fun and fast learning.
