Presentation abstract
This study aims at investigating the effect of using tasks on improving EFL (English as a foreign language) students' writing. Forty college-level students studying at Arrass College of Technology, Saudi Arabia were asked to use tasks to help them improve their written assignments. Data was collected to measure the effect of adopting tasks on their work and to find out the areas that had changed. The final results of this study showed that using tasks had a positive impact on students' writing skills and abilities, they also showed that the students' writing grades have also improved.
